As a mother and educator, I understand the importance of affirmations and how it helps children embody who they are meant to be. I believe it is imperative to teach children to be strong, independent, and loving human beings. This empowerment can then evolve as they grow up from childhood to adulthood to shape a better future for the world.
Our Inner Light
Who we are can be found in the depths of our inner soul. We have an inner light that truly shines from within our heart. This light expands when we feel true unconditional love, peace, and gratitude. Yet, it can also wane when we feel lower emotions such as sadness, anger, and fear.
These affirmations were created to help your child’s inner light expand from their heart out into the world, thus You are the Light of the World. As our children live in love and light, they uplift humanity and the world around us. Their mission of love is very important.

Compassion is when you know how someone else is feeling and you are willing to be a friend.
Close your eyes, place your hands on your heart, feel, and say deep in your heart,
“I am compassion. I am compassion. I am compassion.”
Now with the person next to you, talk about a time when you saw someone who was feeling sad or angry. Talk about. how you can be a friend, and help them feel better and happier.
